Hello. Clients have been writing to me for about a month. They say that to order an item Etsy tells them that they have to ask me for my email address to complete the order. Is this correct ?
To be clear, once you give them your email address, you magically get an email (FAKE) from "etsy support" asking for your banking information. They are trying to trick you and will drain your bank account or set up large withdrawals.
I received such a message as well. That was a few weeks ago. I wanted to make a screenshot for reference, but then the message was just gone. Maybe they deleted it because I didn't react immediately.
