can't print off shipping labels

I know that CP was doing maintenance from the 30th of June till 7 am this morning and I have gone back into my etsy to print shipping labels but it is still not working and wanted to know when this issue will be resolved ?

The post from Etsy on my shop manager says labels are still not available from Canada Post.  Could be things did not go as smoothly as planned.  I even tried CP's site and that was a no go as well

Acording to a Canada Post Service Alert, the maintenance they were doing is taking longer than expected. The service alert says up and running by 11pm EST today.

according to the Canada Post Status announcement, services are down until 11 pm EST July 3.

I have a notice in my orders area that Canada Post services are still down until further notice. They don't know precisely when things will be running again. They must be encountering problems or it's simply taking longer than expected because they aren't guaranteeing when.

I gave up waiting and went to the post office (had to arrange a drive there as I don't drive).  They were able to do it for me there so at least my customer's order is on the way.  Guess CP's long planned out and talked about upgrade has a few unanticipated hiccups.

I just purchased the shipping label directly from Canada Post this morning. I usually ship products that weigh around 100g — on Etsy it costs 8.16 CAD, while through Canada Post it was 9.09 CAD, about one dollar more. Since I needed to ship it this morning, I went ahead and bought the label directly. I hope this information is helpful to you!

As others have mentioned, the Canada Post website still works. I was able to print 3 labels today with no issues.
