both my stores have been hacked!

i set up 2 stage authorization changed passwords but when i get mails from etsy telling me the password has been changed they reference accounts i know nothing about. I cant contact Etsy except via email....wtf do i do?

run virus checkers on all your devices

they had to know your bank account numbers, to change them, so it's likely it's a keystroke virus,

once you've cleared all your platforms,

reset the 2fa, and log everyone else out

put your deposits out to monthly

you can report to actionfraud in the UK.

... don't open new tickets, keep bumping up the one that's already open

it takes time, it was around 5 days  for me to get mine back, and I caught it before anything happened, my shop was shut as a "precaution"

Thanks, my hacked store is still open ive just checked, iam here through my other shop. i cant use 2fa on this one because the hacker has control of the 2fa as well.....Can I ask how did etsy deal with getting your shop back? did they email you and keep you informed?

I had to keep chasing, and relying to the e-mail, to keep it bumped up the queue

You would have thought when the security team are made aware of a hack they would close the shop as a precaution instantly to stop any damage, theft or scams, what is Etsy waiting for?
