attributes for vintage seller not working

The attributes for my shop going through Etsy manager does not work anymore.  I used the attributes for color, search for the closest one and it will not allow me to enter it into the field below.  All my old listings are doing the same thing.  It just stays in the square and goes nowhere.   I just spent 1/2 hour of my time with a support person and was told that Etsy limits attributes for vintage sellers.  None of my attributes work now.  Does anyone know why Etsy does not feel vintage sellers need attributes?  I tried to get the non bot support person to send this to someone technical, just got the sorry, Etsy does not do attributes for vintage anymore.  Even though color is an important search tag, we do not have access to it anymore, is this true?

I just listed a vintage piece with no problem adding attributes. If you spoke with chat, it is a waste of time. They do not have a clue.  Are you using the app or a browser?

Attributes are working fine for me.  I did notice that on the attributes longer form that I need to start typing the color or attribute and a drop down will show the attribute for one to click a box.  I also noticed that the attribute list for materials is extra long, and to save time searching that long list, I do have to start typing to narrow down the list.  For instance, the piece I was listing was made of wood, and the drop down gave me a choice of many types of wood or wood products to choose from.

Try another browser.  If using the app..don't  or try uninstalling and reinstalling. If PC, try clearing your cache and cookies and restarting your computer.  Ye Ole turn it off and turn it on again.  Some glitches are browser related/ dependant.
