additional TAX ID not possible to add , Finland

Hi,

I have tried several times to get help via the Etsy chat , but no response from the Etsy chat.

As Etsy asked to add the additional TAX ID, called in Finland "HETU" within this week.

I tried now several times , but no success . the number is correct but the Etsy page says in red letters, "Please enter a valid HETU"

the number is correct and Im getting now very worried as Etsy will suspend shops without this information.

You are adding your henkilötunnus, right? Not that 12 digit TIN number

As requested from Etsy, under additional tax ID is the HETU number required, which I put in. Also confirmed for Europe from the Finland TAX website link to ec.europa.eu

everything is correct and still doesn’t work.

same problem for me in Canada, it docent except my business number even though you can select it, I have 5 days ugh, so frustrating, and no one seems to be helpful

Our deadline is today and I still was not able to solve it. Frustrating! They should extend the deadline until they solve this technical problem in their system.

@NordicLightsJewels I completely understand your frustration—I'm in the same situation, and it’s incredibly stressful. It's unfair that we’re being put in this position due to a technical issue on their end. I agree; they should definitely extend the deadline until this problem is resolved. If you don’t mind me asking, what happened or what steps did you take after the deadline ended? It would really help to know, as I might be facing the same issue soon. 3 days left to deadline...

Hello, I got last night a email, telling me to check with my tax office and a long explanation how this number has to look. 
This was everything I already know and this email did not help. I have now send them a screenshot of my tax number , shown as verified from the highest tax registration, which covers all EU countries. This shows my number is valid and in my country verified.

Additional I have send the screenshot, which shows this exact number in the Etsy page for additional Tax ID not accepted.

This is the proof, that this error is in their system.

I await now a clarification and will update the situation here. I have requested to extend the deadline until this problem and the error in the system is solved.

I have also requested help from Etsy regarding this same issue but I am still waiting...
