Your shop will stay in Vacation Mode while we review your info

Hello,

I just checked my dashboard this afternoon and found the following message:

"Your shop will stay in Vacation Mode while we review your info

This means you won't be able to receive new orders until we finish verifying your info (which usually takes up to 48 hours after you uploaded your document). No need to do anything else right now—we'll reach out if we need more details from you."

I didn't receive any information from Etsy about this matter, nor have I uploaded a document that they need to verify. I did check my credit card on file to make sure that it's not expired, as it seems like that's something that can trigger this action on Etsy's part. But I only have one credit card on file, and it doesn't expire for four more years.

I understand from a little digging in the forums that this just seems to happen once in a while, and Etsy usually gets it worked out, if not always in a timely fashion. I did open a ticket just this afternoon, so I haven't gotten a response yet.

Just wondering if anyone who has dealt with this situation has any other advice to offer.

Your shop looks open for business. Do you have another shop?

Maybe check your emails just to be on the safe side (check your junk mail folder too). Also remember not to click on links in emails - always go to the site and log in normally first.

This is currently happening to me. On the first of the month it went into vacation mode. This is my livelihood. I just paid all my bills and now I haven’t been able to make my usual income because this glitch or whatever it is. I submitted a ticket, and sent emails. I haven’t heard back yet. They did not inform me this would happen nor have they given me notice as to why it is happening or what ever documentation they are verifying since I never submitted anything. I don’t know how to get my shop back active and I have always done everything I can to maintain star seller and abide by Etsy’s policies. I feel like I’m being punished and don’t even know why. And no one will give me answers. I feel stuck.
