After ten years with etsy and over 2000 sales I just got this message that they put my shop on hold. I did not get any emails regarding why. It just says..
"Your shop will stay in Holiday mode while we review your info
This means you won't be able to receive new orders until we finish verifying your info (which usually takes up to 48 hours after you uploaded your document). No need to do anything else right now – we'll reach out if we need more details from you."
I think it's due to the new us INFORM ACT, which requires etsy to verify seller's information. It seems they hit US sellers first and is now hitting Canadian sellers.
When you say there's no way to contact anyone, have you tried opening a support ticket?
Thanks. I've been looking all over for a way to contact them. They took my little chat box away and they took all email boxes away in the support pages.
Hi Scott, As VintageRescueSquad stated, it could very well have to do with a rolling Re-Verification due to the INFORM Act. Here is the Announcement from Etsy (up in Tech. Issues). There have been quite a few posts with the same issue as you. And it looks like quite a few Sellers are not receiving communication from Etsy.

Thanks for the info. I just seems strange that they never contacted me beforehand requesting any info. Also they never gave me a reason for shutting my account down. And it's impossible to contact anyone. Bizzare.
