this is the second month etsy removed my star seller badges ( December & now January ) .. HOW LONG WILL I BE PUNISHED FOR SOMETHING I MISTAKINGLY DID IN NOVEMBER ??? How do I correct this?? Thank you in advance ..
Depends on what you did.
Since Etsy said it was a final policy violation, likely you will never be a Star Seller again.
Sorry.
Without knowing what you did in November, it's hard to say. But the Jan star seller badge is for your performances in Oct/Nov/Dec. so it's still party of the calculation. And it will be on Feb 1 as well.
It's possible it is a permanent ban.
I would say read the link posted above. Etsy usually gives a few chances and when they say final then it is final and the badges are removed permanently.
im facing same problem im not sure where i went wrong neither they informed me, same warning showed up, i contacted etsy support team they said we had sent you an email in feb but i checked several times my spam folder too but nothing, contacted again they said where are handling your matter to etsy specialist team and youll shortly recieve an email, after that 2 days have passed neither i recievd any email nor they are answering me now, what should i do? atleast they have told me
@BirminghamBeautyShop: "... im not sure where i went wrong ..." I think the very short answer is that it appears you are reselling items falsely labeled as handmade.
The lack of an "about" section explaining how you made these yourself or designed them yourself (and in the latter case no production partners are listed if someone else is manufacturing them exclusively for you) all lead to the appearance of violating Etsy's terms of use. This is something you should resolve before Etsy decides to close your shop permanently.
Etsy does not seem to consider customer service requests from shops they believe are violating Etsy policies as a priority.
@BirminghamBeautyShop I can see why - you are listing your scissors as handmade - that means you are making them!
