A buyer placed an order but provided the wrong address
I’ve tried reaching out but have not heard back.
now i am in danger of sending out the order late and will cause me to go down as a start seller.
Have you extended the ship-by date while you wait to hear back? You can do that one time.
I usually send a direct message on Etsy as well as an email. 50% of the time they respond to emails directly instead of on Etsy so you can try that route.
@PUROPINZ: Extend the ship by date (you can only do it once) and contact the buyer via Etsy Message and eMail letting them know of the issue and be sure to tell them that you will need to cancel the order if you do not hear from them by x date (should be early enough for you to still ship on time if you do hear from them).

BEFORE you do it.
You can edit the “ship by” date once, as long as the original "ship by" date hasn't passed, and the buyer has agreed to the new date.
The new date must be within three weeks of the original “ship by” date.

i would cancel and refund.
and let them know...
they can order again.
with an updated correct address.
because we are not protected.
in any way.
if we change the address on the order.
even with permission by the buyer.
