Wrong star seller score due to incorrectly jumping to another address after typing the shipping company. I will receive a lower rating because of the supposedly missing tracking number.
But the tracking number is provided! Etsy system changed the shipping company after I was typing. This is not the first time this has happened. I have never shipped with FedEx. I ship with DHL. Etsy: please correct the error, the tracking number is available. I always try to offer my customers the best possible service. I expect this of Etsy too: please provide me with good service and correct your mistake. Thank you very much.
From your dashboard, completed orders. Click on the 3 dots to the right of the order. Add a package. Select DHL and input the tracking number. This has worked for me previously.
We are only other sellers, we can't do anything, you ca try logging a ticket, but they don't change things for star seller.

The tracking number has to match the shipping company, otherwise anyone could put in any non-existent tracking number they wanted
put the tracking number in first, then select the company, you have 3 days to correct it.
.... etsy won't change it, even if it did change, and sometimes it does, you still have to save it, you need to change it back, before you complete

Long before Star Seller was even thought of, we got into the habit of spending a few minutes daily checking the previous day's shipments to make sure that they were at least "in transit" so if something was wrong we could fix it within the 72 hour window we are allotted.
Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).
This happens to me on a regular basis, and has been going on since at least covid - I select the correct shipper, but when I click the tracking link it leads to a different shipper, so there is no tracking available. I now always go to completed orders immediately after confirming order shipped. If the wrong shipper is shown, I click the 'edit tracking' box and select the correct shipper. Another time-waste glitsch.....
