Why isn't my "unscented" variation showing on my listing?

Jump to solution

Newbie here. I've reviewed the "variations" tutorials, but still can't figure out how to apply an "unscented" option to only my 4 oz sized body butter. It looks as though "unscented" should appear according to my dashboard, but it doesn't show on my listing for either the 2 oz or 4 oz sizes. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

You need more than 1 option for the variation to show.

Did you set up a second variation for scent? I only see one variation -- size.

You either need to add another option under volume & title it "4 Oz Unscented" OR create a new second variation & title it "Scent" so you can have options for both Scented & Unscented.

FYI, make sure to read up on Etsy's medical claims policy because they can remove listings for making even basic claims:

Either add additional options within the volume variation (4 ounce unscented, 4 ounce scented, 1 ounce unscented, 1 ounce scented) or do a second variation for the scent.

Thank you for the feedback, but I'm still not able to add any other variations or options. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've linked a screenshot image of the pop-up when I'm trying to add an option or variation.

YES! That was the silly problem. I was trying to add "unscented" as a variation, without also adding "unscented" so that's why it wasn't showing up on my listing. I only want to add an unscented option to the 4 oz size, so for now, I'm just not going to set it up. But, it would be so helpful if Etsy would allow you to offer an option on a variation!

If you only want unscented as an option on the 4 oz, then go back into the volume variation and change it so the options are 4 ounce unscented, 4 ounce scented, 1 ounce scented.

I would if I could! I'm not able to add "unscented" as a variation under the ounces.

I had to add it as a separate listing
