Sometimes I get a notification if I have an order, sometime I don't. Same with messages. Why is Etsy so glithcy when it comes to notifications and messages? I have not changed anything.
Emails that you receive? That can come from many sources from Etsy to your email provider. Email providers can get backed up, loss messages or change their decisions about what will or will not get through.
I've never had any problem with the message system.
You are so lucky that you never have problems with much of anything Etsy does.
Do you purchase much?
I mostly get my messages as a seller, but about half the time I get NO purchase confirmation as a buyer.
And convo notifications only about half the time.
It's really frightening how badly things work here. It sometimes seems that Etsy is setting us up to fail.
