I translate my listing into French (by default my shop is in English), and in the new version of the listing, the "second language" section to be able to translate my listing into French has disappeared.
Can someone help me?
Thank you
There have been several reports about this in the forums. Here is a link to one of the threads
https://community.etsy.com/t5/Managing-Your-Shop/New-listing-experience-second-language-translations...
Please report it to Etsy using the Share feedback link at the top of the new listing form.
Thank you, but I’ve already seen this link which has no help. I’ve also reported the problem to Etsy several times without an answer.
I've reported it several times as well. To no avail so far. I still use the old form, because I want to do my own translations.
The computer translations are butchering the texts and the most important seach words...!
A jewelry box becomes a coffin, yeah right.
A pendant becomes a trailer, cool...! Where are we going?
I could go on and on.
I reported this a few times as well. And it's even worse, if you make the mistake to open one of your listings in the app all your translations are lost
I don't get how they can be ignoring all the feedback on this. Surely they will add the Translation feature before they turn off the old format.
hopefully!
@Fileusedetoiles3 >>>> Are you aware there is now a "French Community" in the Etsy Forums? Maybe they can help.
I have the same problem. I translate my listings from Italian to English but the translation section is gone. Etsy's automatic traslator is a nightmare.
Hi, I also have the same problem. First I have thought it's something that just occured on the platform but now I can see it's a long story looking at your comments here
