Is this an Etsy glitch? Doesn't appear to be a DPD one. Sometimes when entering the DPD tracking number the customer sees 'DELIVERED' on their order straight away, but when you click the actual tracking number it does not say delivered. So looks like an Etsy glitch.
I had a US buyer demand a refund when her parcel showed delivered the same day I dispatched it. LOL - obviously not going to be delivered in the USA the same day I dispatch from the UK! I don't think teleportation has been invented yet, sadly (otherwise I'd be lazing on a beach in Greece or St Lucia). My partner had the same issue, with a US buyer asking for a refund when he'd only just posted the order. They both calmed down once the glitch was pointed out. Anyone else have this issue?
This has just happened to me today! I marked the item as despatched with the DPD tracking number. A few hours later the customer left me a 1 star rating saying that he has not received the item even though it says its been delivered. I am in the UK, he is in the USA. I explained that it was a glitch and it should update to the correct tracking in a few days and I asked him to change the 1 star rating. He did luckily, but informed me he was not happy and just wanted his item. I again explained how shipping works and the time frame when shipping from the UK to the USA but he still didn't understand
Not sure what else I can say to him so just thankful he changed it to a 5 star rating.
