When I try to copy a listing the heading & content reverts back to previous one

When I try to copy a listing the heading & content reverts back to previous one.

For the last 3 days when I try and use my iPhone and Etsy seller app to add a new listing the photos, price and shipping are changed to the new information but the heading and contents/description reverts back to the old listing. 

I have deleted the app thinking this may be the issue and re-installed but its not, the same thing has happened.

I have to go into my lap top to change the text.

Any suggestions as it is taking me ages to list an item, plus frightened the information shown may not refer to the new item if I don't double check everything.

@foreverfrench: "I have to go into my lap top to change the text." There are innumerable threads in this forum about issues with the app. Have you tried using your mobile browser instead of the app?

Having the same problem for the last few days! It’s not saving the changes unless I use the mobile version 🤦‍

It’s happening to us, too. I don’t know how to submit a problem report - do they monitor the community posts?

@VintagePurpleCrayon: Even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

Thank you, however when I look to try and report what I think is an issue there is nowhere obvious on the link to report it.

I have looked at all the options shown and none apply and I cannot see where I can contact Etsy.

They don't make it easy!!

The contact us simply takes me to a page of options none of which I can see apply and I cannot see how to open a support ticket, I maybe missing it but have spent ages looking.

Finally got a response. They tell me they have a ticket open on this issue but people should continue to report the problem. Apparently the more widespread the problem is the more urgent the fix becomes.

This has become seriously annoying. It slows listing time down by 30 mins, and that’s using the mobile app. I copy the item, make the changes, press publish, and it reverts right back to the old listing. I change it 3 or 4 times, and just when I think it’s been fixed, it goes back to the old listing. And no, I see that someone inquired if Etsy has a Help line or somehow we can report an issue - it has never been my experience that you can get a human, even when I’ve been stalked by a buyer who harassed me under 3 different names. If there is a way to notify Etsy that they should pay more attention to their sellers and less to schmaltzy ad techniques that are turning them into the next old school tool, I’d love to know how to report this very critical bug.

Also somewhere I found a place to email but I can’t figure out how to get back there. It is so unnecessarily complicated. However, I did get an email that they were looking into it. They also said something to the effect of the more people that report it the more seriously they take it.

I have just had a reply from Etsy:

 I understand that it does not fit your current needs. However, I kindly suggest to keep working in a desktop if you still have this problem with the seller APP  after you re installed.
 
If you're using an iPhone, you can also check the help topics for your device  for details on how to clear the stored information.

I will definitely take notes and share this feedback with our product team to take into consideration for future adjustments. 

Very frustrating as had been able to do it all on my iPhone up until a few weeks ago, makes me not want to list to be frank!!

It boggles me that Etsy don’t understand what a headache this is for shop owners.

I edited some wording in a few titles.  The changes didn't show up until many hours later, but they did show up and stayed.  This was on my lap top.
