What's up with Etsy Ads tonight?

I'm putting this in technical issues because it seems apropos. 

So... I JUST turned on Etsy ads about 5 minutes ago to see if it will help bring in traffic for my busiest month (Nov.)

Already it's showing hundreds (nearing 1000) of views, no clicks, for yesterday (Oct. 31). But zero for today. I'm in Pacific time zone. Is this a glitch? So weird...

I've never used Ads, but that 1,000 views from yesterday sounds strange. On Halloween mind you; the ghosts were busy:)
I'm confused though.  You turned the Ads on 5 min. ago today.  But all of those views were from yesterday. So views for Ads were showing on the day you didn't have them turned on? (yesterday). I apologize in advance if I'm not understanding.

Yes, you're understanding correctly. I turned them on tonight (nov 1), the views are showing for yesterday (oct 31) when they were off.

Ads for 10/31 are up to 2000+ views and 9 clicks.

ads for 11/1 are straight zeros.

I turned the ads on 11/1 at around 7pm pacific time. (10pm Etsy time)

Same here. 356k views this year, including 10/31. budget over $100. zero views for 11/1.

I'm curious if other sellers' order counts dropped off too—ie, is this just a reporting issue, or did the ads actually not run?

I’m not sure, but that would be a different issue to the one I’m having.

What’s weird about mine is that I didn’t turn them on until today, 11/1.

There should be no ads stats for 10/31 (for me) because my ads were off 10/31
