WRONG ON REPLY STATS

THIS IS THE MESSAGE I GOT ON MY ETSY MESSAGES REIVEW. THE REASON IS BECAUSE I HAD SEVERAL WINDOWS OPEN ON MY COMPUTER... ONE OF THE PAGES CONTAINED A THANK YOU FROM A CUSTOMER. THIS WAS A CONVERSATION THAT I DID RESPOND TO IMMEDIATELY, BUT CERTAINLY WITHIN ONE HOUR. IT WAS JUST ON ANOTHER OPEN PAGE. WE WERE HAVING A DISCUSSION. NO TRANSACTION PROBLEM. JUST KIND THANK YOUS. 

COME ON ETSY! THIS IS WRONG.

I GOT A MESSAGE ON THE STILL OPEN PAGE TODAY......THOUGH THE MESSAGE HAD BEEN ANSWERED DAYS AGO!! 

SOMETIMES I HAVE CONVERSATIONS WITH PEOPLE REGARDING HOW HAPPY THEY ARE WITH PURCHASE. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THIS WAS ABOUT. 

SOMETIMES I HAVE SEVERAL ETSY PAGES OPEN AT ONCE AS I AM WORKING ON MULTIPLE LISTINGS AT THE SAME TIME.  NOW I WENT FROM 95% RESPONSE RATE DOWN TO LIKE 70% OR SOME NONSENSE 

WRONG!!!

Responding on a different thread doesn't count.

If the buyer sends a new message, it needs a response.  If you answered through a different message, that doesn't count.  Unfortunately, contacting Etsy will get you nowhere, since Etsy admins cannot change anything on Star seller.  Sorry!

Look at the message system.  Were the messages on new message?  If so you need to answer.  I believe Etsy still marks the new message with a blue dot so you know it is new. 

Perhaps maybe you need to slow down with the number of pages so you know more about what is going on?  Just a suggestion.

@VintageLaneJewels: Have you verified which new thread(s) Etsy thinks you did not answer using the applicable CSV file available on your Star Seller page (previous period for July Star)? When you look at the file remember that that the dates / times are in UTC (not your time zone), only the first message of a new incoming thread is included (all that counts for Star Seller), and usually a new incoming thread is not included until after the 24 hour reply window has passed regardless of when you replied.

Also, keep in mind that the Star Seller metric is that you need to reply to the FIRST message of EVERY NEW INCOMING THREAD. It does not matter who sent it, the subject matter, if it is a duplicate or blank or anything else.
