I wonder if anyone can help me out of this problem which looks like a glitch on etsy website. As a new seller, my bank account has been "verified", but I am still unable to get paid.
Etsy sent me a small sum and they wanted me to tell them how much exactly they sent, as a second verification step. So I did it, and it turned out to be a wrong amount. (They said something like "the account could not be verified, try again".)
So I figured out the possible reason: My bank account is in another currency than is my currency on etsy, and to sort it out I need to notify them about it by editing my bank account.
So in my payment settings, I clicked "edit". The form wanted to enter my account number again, which I did and hit "next" button. But there was this strange error message
- The account number you entered doesn’t match what we have on file. Try again.
Which is clearly a bulsh!t, because it's the same account I enter all the time!
