Variations

Hi there

I am new as an Etsy Seller and am Unable to add variation to my custom digital portrait listing.

I tried to figure out but just not successful. Please help! :o/

The listing is:

What problems are you having with creating a variation so we have a better chance of helping you. I'm assuming you have read the help section on variations.

You can't have variations on Digital products, only physical ones.

If it Custom, you should list it as physical, not digital.

And then you can add variations.

I am currently looking at a digital listing with variations and trying to figure it out. They have separate add on amounts for each of the licensing types...  could this be a test or something you have to sign on for?

We've no idea how they are doing it. We didn't know then either.

Could be a test, could be something else they set it up on and it syncs the listings to etsy.

Are the digital listings with variations ones that are digital instant downloads or listings that state they are digital but were created from a regular physical listing and are to be sent digitally via email?

@EDCCollective  They have "instant download" and the type of file available.

They are actual instant downloads, they've managed to put variations on.

I am having this same issue for a physical listing.  I have already followed each step here: https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015664047-How-to-Add-Variations-for-Your-Listings?segment...  My variations are not showing up at all when I view my listing.  Does anyone have any advice?
