I recently list some beaded pens and used the Variations feature for each individual pen. Someone purchased one of the pens but it did not remove it from my listing. I had to physically delete the item so no one else would purchase it. Something doesn't seem right with that. I listed each individual pen with a quantitiy of (1) and after the purchase it still showed that (1) was available. Anyone know how to fix that? Thank you in advance for any solutions. Have a great day....
You have to tick the box that's worded something like 'quantity differs by variation' then you get forms where you can input the quantity of each variation.
Thank you for your reply and yes I did that each and every item I had listed in the Variations. Etsy may be getting overloaded. Today my photos weren't even coming up for a while. Good Grief!!! Thanks again.
@WOWFACTORDesign and where do you find that? everything that is important is now hidden and nowhere to be found. It takes several extra clicks just to link your photos now. None of this saves time.
Thanks for your reply. Talking about photos, yesterday my photos weren't even being displayed for a while.....Variations is used if you have, for example, the same earrings but in different colors. Instead of lising each separately you can use Variations and list each one all in the same listing.
Oh gosh, this just happened to me too. I had 4 variations and only 1 of each. Sold 2 and today got an order for one of the sold listings! Looked up the listings and it showed all 4 were available!!! Chatting with Etsy now
Well I had an even crazier experience! I had one left of an item and it sold. Imagine my surprise when it renewed it and it was showing I had 9 of them! I am changing all of my listings to manual renewal. But for variations, after reading this it makes me really nervous as I use variations a lot.
I reported this in chat, first thing I was told was because of automatic renewals - which I don’t use! I ended up deleting sold listings. So they escalated it. Just got an email to to the following:
