Uploading verification
Hello everyone, I am a new seller and still getting used to things so sorry if this is an old topic. I got my code with a small deposit into my bank account from Etsy but nowhere to enter the code! Was asked to verify my bank account and spent over an hour trying to upload a JPEG photo of my bank statement that was over 10mb. No go and tried 3 different browsers. The response was to uninstall, re-install, clear cookies and disable my anti-virus software, I mean really? Nothing worked and I then decided to try a PDF. This went through successfully and I though that was it.
No Etsy decided that the details I'd given which were what they wanted weren't good enough. I suspect when you upload the image it is being cropped which then removes details. I don't know what more they want or are they playing at silly buggers because I sent all the information that could be clearly seen on the bank statement with transactions covered up naturally. I've been threatened with my shop being suspended. Money from a couple of sales is being held. I told customer care about the problems with uploading a JPG of JPEG file.
The problem is no-one says what the problem is and of course you get bot responses. Are UK bank statements not being recognised? I was so excited about my shop and really proud of it, having spent a lot of time getting my stock listed and of course buying the stock plus add ons for a professional buyer experience. I am really fed up now. Any help/advice much appreciated as I am just hitting a brick wall going round in circles. Thankyou.

Re: Uploading verification
When you get the code you don't need to upload anything, via desktop or mobile browser, go to your shop, in the finances-payment account it will have the input area to verify your payment details. (unless this has changed over the past year, I have never needed to upload my bank statements.)

Re: Uploading verification
Thankyou but there is no place to enter code. I finally found out that the problem was the paper I used to cover up transactions had slipped and covered up the statement date. Etsy eventually told me that. Problem now solved.
