I have android Samsung22. Yesterday morning I was able to complete a listing including uploading pictures with camera phone to etsy seller app. Later in the afternoon I could no longer upload pictures as usual. I get a message saying couldn't upload photo because it's an unsupported file. I went in checked my camera setting on phone, it is set to jpeg. Same as all the others before. Today I tried again, figured out it is the Etsy app Because I can only use the take photo option to upload not the upload from files option. Please fix.
I never tried this way. I use more professional camera and use photoshop for editing and save them in a secure file if I need them in future
I like to take the pictures and write the listings from my phone wherever I am when I get a few extra 15 minutes.
I use an iphone for photos. Try uploading one at a time, not more than one. Sometimes that works.
Yes. Sometimes this is the issue. But not always. This hasn't worked today. Thank you for suggesting.
I am experiencing the same thing I keep going to upload via the app and it always glitches past a certain point which is frustrating as all the photos I take are with my phone and it's a huge Inconvenience to email 400 photos and save then upload I really hope they fix this soon
I have an iPhone and am experiencing a similar issue. I also always upload the photos from my phone because airdropping is annoying if I don’t need to do it. This morning there’s not even an option to upload photos from the app (no pencil next to that field). Very frustrating! Hoping they fix this massive issue soon, as this renders the app not very useful.
I have an iPhone and am having the same issue! I don't even have the option to upload pictures at all from the app. It sounds like this can occasionally be an issue. How long does it normally take for Etsy to hear of these issues and then fix them?
I am so frustrated. It's been over a week, according to this thread, that this issue has been going on, and I still can't upload photos from my app. What is the point of the app if users can't use it effectively? Does anyone know how to escalate this issue?
