Upgraded shipping - how do I process it?

Jump to solution

Hi, my first post here. I am in the UK if it makes any difference to any answers to my question. I sell personalised Starting School card and a customer has ordered one for her grandson. She immediately realised that he starts school in 2 days' time and has asked if she can upgrade postage. I created a Custom order and she has paid it.

I now have the 2 orders showing as paid but can't work out how to process the orders. I haven't got the option for 24-hour Tracking (which is what she's paid for) as a label preset in the original order so can't choose that. I'm wondering if I've done this right. Other options are to use Click and Drop but I don't really understand how it works. Or I can mark the 2 orders as completed and just pay for Tracked 24 over the counter tomorrow.

I'd be really grateful for any help.

I'm not in the UK but....Yes! You can purchase labels outside of Etsy - after you get back from the post-office mark order completed and add the tracking info.

Here's an Etsy article that might help https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015774228-How-to-Add-Tracking-and-Complete-an-Order?segme...
