Unmark as Gift

I have several orders incorrectly marked as gift. The 'Unmark as a gift' function is still there in the 3-dots menu but it does not actually unmark as a gift. I have no option but to print a gift packing slip.

I've tried several different browsers so that does not appear to be the problem. Is this happening for all sellers?

The note that prints out on the top of my packing slip give so much information. Am I going to have to spend more money on printing out an extra card to include in every package because they can’t get it through their heads that what they changed is a pain and an inconvenience?? Don’t we know best as sellers? I’ve been on Etsy for 15 years. I’m a well oiled machine and this has now caused me extra work and stress.

From responses I have got from ETSY support it looks like we are all going to have to get used to NOT being able to unmark orders as gifts :0(

In that case can they give us an option to generate the invoice in buyers currency? Otherwise shipping internationally to certain places is going to be problematic.

@MountainCut  Why do you have to have to print a gift packing slip?  I get these "marked as a gift" every now and then - in fact, just got one a couple of days ago.  If the package is not going to someone other than the buyer, it simply means they mean to gift the item.  I, for one, do not waste paper printing a packing slip unless it's a very large order with multiple items and I have never had a customer complain that they didn't get a packing slip.

I don't as a general rule print a packing slip and whenever I receive a package if there is a packing slip I don't even look at it - it goes in the trash with the fancy packaging.

That packing slip is online for the customer to read if they feel the need.

The problem is, you need to know the exact amount in foreign currency, for the customs form, when you send overseas, and this is only on the packing slip, 

when you unmark as gift, you can see the exact amount, if you can't, you have no idea what exchange rate etsy used, and the exact value charged

with trump tariffs, this is more important than ever

I have a gift wrapping and gift note disabled and they are both still appearing as options. I don't want to piss off my customers but this is something I do not offer. I wish Etsy would make sure if the seller has is disabled this option, it wouldn't offer it to the customer anyway.

The "Unmark as Gift" option is NOT working any longer and is causing problems when I print my orders. Very important information is in my "Personalized Note" that prints on just the Packing Slips. Either make the "Unmark as Gift" option work again, or let there be an option for the "Personalized Note" to be able to be printed on every "Packing Slip". 99% of the time, customers mark the item as a gift, BUT ARE GOING TO BE SHIPPED TO THEMSELVES! The "Personalized Note" NEEDS to be put in every package. I do not want to waste time and money on printing out an entire separate note and inserting it in the package. I want it on the "Packing Slip" or "Order Receipt" NO MATTER WHAT. HELP! Please help. Please.
