Unable to print shipping labels

I'm trying purchase an Etsy shipping label but after I click review, it just says failed to purchase.  I've tried in the seller app several times and in a web browser. I closed out the window and started over and it still won't purchase. Need help please!

Here in Australia I have had this message at the top of my open orders page for the last three days:

"We are currently experiencing technical issues and Australia Post labels are unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience."

I'm having the same issue.  Talked with Etsy Chat and they were less than helpful.  Told me to pursue other options for shipping, but when I mentioned that I ship mostly letter envelopes and could not get tracking numbers for those (essentially the USPS will just put a stamp on it) they said it will affect my customer service scores for not including tracking.  So I will either have late packages while I wait for them to fix, or have negative impact from no tracking numbers.  There was not a timeframe for fixing the issue, either.

Any one else with this issue?  When I go through the steps of getting a shipping label, click on it to purchase it, it throws and error message and I cannot get the label.  Sigh.

Last couple days, Etsy has been having all sorts of problems. People can't list, others were saying they couldn't print labels. I have seen nothing from Admin whether engineers are working on the problems and so forth. In another Thread, an Admin was tagged.

I've not used Etsy Labels, and was planning to do so this year, but this kind of thing really gives me pause. Sellers cannot do their jobs if basic functions are not working. And there is no comment from Etsy; either to acknowledge glitches are going on, or the fact that engineering is working on a fix for those glitches.
