Unable to Receive 2FA Code - Incorrect Country Code

Dear Etsy Support,

I am currently experiencing an issue with logging into my account. Normally, when I log in on my computer, I receive a verification code via SMS, but this time I did not receive any message.

I checked my phone and noticed that I was still logged in to the Etsy app. I tried to disable the two-factor authentication from the app, but I couldn't proceed because the phone number format seems to be incorrect. I am located in Thailand, and my country code should be +66, but the system only shows +6, which may be the reason why the verification code is not being delivered to my phone.

Could you please help me resolve this issue so I can receive the code and access my account normally again? I appreciate your assistance.

@Dreamervector: "Dear Etsy Support ..." Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy moderators do sometimes read and reply to posts).

There are only other sellers here, you will have to contact Etsy via the the help section in your app.

The other way is to use one of your back up codes, log in and de-activate 2FA

I would suggest downloading google authenticator for the 2FA, so that if anything happens to your phone, you can just download the authenticator to another device and access your codes

I tried to submit my issue through the support page, but when I clicked "Send," nothing happened. It seems like the button was not working, so I’m posting here instead.

You can not reach Etsy support via the forum. where are your 2fa back up codes?
