I have twice posted a to a forum thread but the posts don't show up. Is this a technical glitch or does Etsy have a problem with me and/or my posts?
Did somebody say something? (kidding) Sometimes it won't "take" my response but if I just refresh the page it goes. The forums be glitchy...
@TreeTreasuresCanada I see lots of your posts from yesterday.
Thank you for your replies. I tried once more and the post shows as accepted when I click Reply but then it just disappears into a big black hole.
If you post a link or on a topic they auto-flag, the comment may not appear until someone reviews it manually. Likely all of them will show up at once, tomorrow or Monday
@cindylouwho2 Hmm, no links. I have no idea what triggered the problem. It will be interesting to see what shows up.
Something like that happened to me once. I emailed community@etsy.com.
They said I was mistakenly put in "spam quarantine state."
That happened to me yesterday with one post. I wasn't sure if a glitch, or my implying there was one shared neuron amongst management. Guess we'll see, eh? !
I saved the link ages ago for unmoderated items. See if you have posts here https://community.etsy.com/t5/premod/moderationitemspage/tab/unmoderated
@EightMileVintage thank you! I thought I had bookmarked that before, but could not find it.
@cindylouwho2 You're welcome. I have no idea where I got it. You can't drill down into your Lithium profile and find it.
When it won't take mine, I cut it out of the box, then refresh the page and paste it back in, and it will usually take it the 2nd time. It tends to do this if you take too long writing the post.
i get lots of *flooding detected* even if it is my first post of the day.
@nineteen27 I got that when trying to report a prolific spammer who was promoting. Ironic.
@EightMileVintage Thank you for the link. When I check "My Rejected Items", the posts are there. Must be some word I used but have no idea what could have been inappropriate.
Let us know if you find out! Most of these examples I've seen have probably been malfunctioning bots.
