USPS Ground Advantage

Is anyone else randomly missing ground advantage as a shipping option today? It is missing in our shipping profiles and I’m positive it had been in them.

We have all been missing it for the last couple of years since Ground Advantage replaced First Class.  Why Etsy has not addressed this is unconscionable.

We have had it as an option but it is now gone.

USPS and Etsy, on their own merits, are unconscionable.

I noticed Ground Advantage in my shipping profile earlier this week. I don't know how long it's been there but I know it wasn't there for a longgggg time after First Class Package was no longer a USPS option. And it's still an option right now.

I believe that fixed shipping profiles have it, but calculated shipping still doesn't?  Has that changed?

That is correct @funkydreamsmosaics ... nothing has changed, at least not within my fixed shipping profiles.  If you are using Calculated shipping, you have to enable BOTH FCM & Parcel Select Ground which gives Ground Advantage prices but just not the GA verbiage.

I have been using this site for the last 10 years https://www.pirateship.com. They offer many delivery methods from different postal services.

If you have multiple shops on Etsy, Amazon, eBay, etc. you can see all your orders in one place on one page. The prices are great but the most important thing is the customer service there. Before you can finish your coffee, you'll already have a response from the support service:))

Use a 3rd party to buy labels from like Pirateship. They have fantastic customer support and help with filing claims. There are other companies also. No connection, just a customer.

Mine is also missing. It shows First Class Mail option only. I'm not sure why and came on here to see if others are having the same issue.

@ValleyBeautiful: Long term issue. If you are using calculated shipping, to have the shipping price based on Ground Advantage enable First Class Package for packages of 15.99 ounces or less, Parcel Post for packages of 16 ounces or more.

Thank you for the information. This is on fixed shipping items. The shipping profiles reflect Ground Advantage but when purchasing the shipping labels Ground Advantage is not available. I am in contact with support now.
