UNABLE TO SEE MESSAGES BECAUSE OF AN EXTRA REPLY SCREEN BLOCKING VIEW

Hi 

I have a random problem that appeared from nowhere and is effecting all our message screens.

I can't read messages from people because there is an extra reply screen that is sitting on top of the message.

There is no button to close the screen either.  The random screen is basically a space to type a reply then underneath there are options for frequently used saved replies.

I have no idea how ro get rid of this screen. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to solve it.

Same for me as well been like this for days on desktop. Contacted support and won't accept there is an issue, they are insisting its my browser or my font size and it's not. So having to use the app on my phone to reply to messages.

It sounds like a glitch. Clear your cache and if that doesn't work, try using a different browser.

I've done this already makes no difference on desktop or  website on mobile device but app is fine.

I've been seeing this too, on laptop.  Several posts in the Forums about this, and the suggestion is to look in the lower right corner of the message box where there is diagonal lines in a grey corner - that will expand the message enough to be able to read a little easier.

No problems on either app, or the mobile browser site.

Try making your page display size smaller. I've had to reduce mine to 80% in order to see the previous messages.

It's super annoying
I guess it started with this warning right above the reply box "To stay protected, stay on Etsy. Never follow links to other sites, and don’t share contact, account, or financial info with anyone in Messages. Learn how to spot spam."

I used to work in a software company 15 years ago, and I remember finding it nearly impossible to add something new without disrupting something else that was working accurately.

I believe they will fix it soon.
