I cannot download my shop reviews! Please help!
Bump because I’m curious, too.
I don't think you can do that.
@HeartfeltbyDonnaJean - All I can offer is this from Etsy:
It does include info on how to download them. I'd assume this is something that must be done on a computer, not the app.
As with all things, there could be a glitch in the system.
Same thing here; unable to download reviews for days. Use to be an easy process. Any from Etsy Management here? Can this be fix?
How Do I Download My Etsy Data? – Etsy Help
Personally I would wonder why anyone would want reviews. They can't be used anyplace else. They are the property of the reviewer not the seller. If used elsewhere, as a buyer, if the seller does not have my permission, I would be a less than happy camper if I saw my reviwe anyplace other than on Etsy. Just my two cents.
I had the same thought!
@JDTotesnDolls: Agree with you except that Etsy encourages a shop to share their reviews from the shop's Marketing > Social Media page.
I am also getting an error when I try to download my reviews. It hasn't worked for a couple of weeks now. I thought it might resolve itself, but I just tried again and still get the error.
Perhaps this has something to do with whatever reasons Etsy had to retire the findAllUserFeedbackAsSeller API call in favor of a much more restrictive getReviewsByListing API call.
Has anyone been able to resolve this. I have tried clearing cookies, cache and using a different browser and still have no luck.
I worked with Etsy on this yesterday and they were unable to fix it, so they put in a ticket for higher up the ladder.
Same issue here!
Same here, would be nice to Etsy to fix this
Same issue here as well! So frustrating!
same here, cant download reviews, but can download listing info -
same issue for me. Not able to download my reviews. Get an error 400
@OpenChestsActivities: Best guess is that Etsy will not "fix" this (but they should remove the download link). When Etsy migrated to their latest version of their API they removed the ability to download reviews by seller and / or by buyer. The latter was probably in response to sites like KarenCheck. Using the new API you can only download reviews by individual listing.
You could apply for API access and write a short program to download the reviews for each of your listings.
The only "off the shelf" automated alternative would be to use a web scraping program but doing so would almost certainly be against Etsy policies and Terms of Service and could result in legal consequences, including being banned from the site.
Contacted support, and it was no help. I believe he mentioned sending the info to tech dept. Regardless of use intent, this is information on my shop regarding my product. I most defiantly feel that access to the download should be available. Seems that the inability to download is intentional since it has lasted to long.
