I'm a UK based Etsy seller and like many others have been greatly impacted by the Cyber incident that has happened in the last few weeks. As a result my parcels are now nearing a month overdue and I was wondering if there is anything Etsy can do to help support UK based sellers at this time, for instance the ability to give more options to extend update dispatch dates, as I cannot extend my present dispatch times any further
Post by Tracked and Signed if you haven't already. Or cancel the orders if you can't justify the extra cost. Or find another courier.
If you have parcels in transit that are lost/delayed, start putting in claims through RM, ask your customers kindly to wait an extra couple of weeks, then start refunding.
There are many many of us in the same boat. We will likely all loose a lot of income one way or another. We just need to get through this the best we can and work out the best damage limitation for our own shops.
You have the money, and are holding onto parcels, you have to ship or cancel.
You can ship with a different shipper, transglobal have good reports here
or you can ship Royal mail tracked, (no longer needs a signature)
just don't hold onto them any longer
