Typing a decimal number adds a hyperlink

Typing a decimal number in messages conversation the number to a hyperlinked url upon sending. This is a technical bug that needs to be resolved in coding. Please advise.

Hyperlink after sending or before?

I have not experienced taht and I have used decimal points in numbers.

I had this the other day and did not see it till after the message was send. I hate when I type something wrong in message and feel like a fool, but when I did not do it wrong in the first place, it makes me mad.

Yes this has been happening for at least 6 months (anywhere you type more than 1 . in a message.....(like that), turns it into a hyperlink. Some customers must think what on earth is going on. 

I reported it some months ago...obviously no one at Etsy sees it as an issue.
