Trying to set up a sale but will only discount entire shop

I have done this before but now I cannot pick specific listings to discount. Is this a glitch? Help!!

If you don’t set a minimum order to qualify, you will be able to select specific listings to include in the sale. You can edit the sale later to include new listings if needed.

If you do set a minimum order to qualify, your sale will be shop-wide and you won’t be able to exclude items from it.

OK got it. Now, my sale is supposedly live but this is not reflected in my listings. Does it take a while to kick in?

I did a search using the phrase " "vintage taylor ng cat mug" and 2 of your products appeared at the top. I think everything is fine.
