Tracking numbers no longer on Shipping notifications (sellers)

None of my recent shipping notifications have the tracking number info on it anymore. If something shows IN TRANSIT for too long, I would click on the tracking number to see where the item is. If it's not moving, I'd click through to USPS and request email notifications. Is this an error that needs to be fixed or is it the way things are now? When the customer gets the shipping notification, is it also missing the tracking number?

Are you on a desktop computer when looking at the Orders & Shipping Page (which normally shows the Tracking No.)? Or are you using the App.

@ChillwolfArt  I only use a desktop when working on my shop. I only use the app to get a cha ching (and that usually happens several hours after the actual sale).

@McKeanCreations: "If something shows IN TRANSIT for too long ..." As far as we know, an order will only show "in transit" or greater if there is a validated / verified tracking number on the order.How often USPS scans or Aftership updates Etsy is out of our control.

"When the customer gets the shipping notification ..." You can see exactly what the shipping notification that goes to the buyer looks like by requesting a copy of it be eMailed to you.

@BagmakerSupply   I use Etsy labels, I get the shipping notification copy, I have tracking on everything. It's just the email notifications I'm getting, when you click on Tracking and it goes to the order, The order doesn't have the little box with the tracking info in it. This has only been happening for about the last week

@McKeanCreations: Very odd. We just checked our copy of the eMail notification of our most recent shipment and the tracking button opens the order and the shipping information is there (at least using a browser).

We do not use Etsy labels, but that should not make a difference to what the buyer receives in their shipping notification.

I haven't looked at my copy of the shipping notification that is sent.  I always check the completed orders for information and click there to get more USPS information.  

I looked at the notification for me as a buyer and the tracking number is there and clickable.

It has always been there for me too. It's just been the last week that little box isn't on my notifications any more. I always kept them in my inbox, then would check them after about 5 days to see if they were delivered. It's not there anymore on mine.

I do the same and my email notifications from the USPS are working.

@CatsBeadKitsandMore   So strange. 2 weeks ago, some had the little tracking box and some didn't. This last week, none have the little tracking box with the tracking number. Must be a glitch or a test?
