I have a 5.0 review, 100% response time and 65 sales (5 is required) for the last month. When I look at the stats it says sales total is based off the shop. Because most of my products are $2 to $5, I’m not sure how I’m ever going to gain star status, can my shop be re-evaluated and adjusted accordingly please?
Since you do sell lower priced items, did you also meet the $300 threshold?
You should be aware that ''Kentucky Derby'' and terms related to the event are trademarked by Churchill Downs. You not only have to meet the SS requirements, but also have your shop in good standing, i.e. don't infringe on IP owners. One deactivation could be a reason why a seller will not be eligible for the badge.
@FloridayCreations: Not sure what you want reevaluated. The total sales for Star Seller does not include shipping or any additional taxes collected. The number of sales and the dollar amount only count sales during the applicable three month period.
"... can my shop be re-evaluated and adjusted accordingly please?" Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).
If you sell inexpensive items, it is harder to reach the $$ limit. At the same time, if you sell really expensive items, it is hard to reach the number-of-sales limit. But that is what Etsy choose to do. Etsy choose to set the bar where it is some time ago, I doubt they will lower it at this late date. Etsy also doesn't take considerations or make exception to Star Seller. Sorry. I know this isn't what you want to hear.
I know it was like that before they changed the structure, but now it reads contract support.
