Please do not introduce a tool that doesn't work in RL in my Shop Manager.  I received a message.  Answered it 4 minutes later and hours later it is still flagged as a message outstanding on this top task list?  I click to see if it's a new message and NO it isn't.  

WHAT A TIME SUCK???!!!  Either have it work in Real Time or remove it.

And NO I am not renewing over 3000 sold old items???  Have it make sense.

I had to do the same, give feedback on why I can NOT renew my sold out items... sometimes (handmade) sold out actually means sold out.

"today's top tasks" in my dashboard = a total waste of space! so sad that Etsy has nothing better to do than "make work projects" and "fix" that which is not broken. Etsy needs to get rid of these useless "employees"/save the $ for wiser "investments"...

Question ... if you have sold out listing that you have no intention of ever relisting ... why not just delete them?  Problem solved, right?

Because I might want to resurrect a line? I keep them there for a reason.

Because I sell vintage and will copy and edit relevant old listings to save A LOT of time.

I sell vintage jewelry and quite often I find a piece that I have sold before or very, very frequently I find items similar enough that I can use a sold out listing as a template for a new one, so I'm not deleting them.  No, problem not solved.

Nope; at least according to Etsy Support staff on chat, "that is not an option at this time."

It is rather silly.  It still says I have a message to answer and I haven’t any message since yesterday? Answered the one I had  in 4 minutes and it is STILL showing a need to respond.
