TikTok scammers??

I recently created a tiktok to advertise my listings. I've been getting hundreds of messages from "marketing experts" Trying to get me to sign up for Fiverr and message them. I can't believe how many scammers there are. it's ridiculous. Be careful out there! Don't fall for their scheme's.

Any decent marketing expert worth their weight in gold would never solicit strangers, they are too busy working for customers who have contacted them.

They're on instagram too, I get messages daily that IG sends to spam automatically.

I was getting scam messages pretty much daily on FB and Instagram.  For a while, I was getting multiple scam messages daily, then they stopped for a while, then they reappeared in a new form.  The scammers there are working hard to get past the screening processes.

They’re on Etsy too. A recent spammer called me an idiot when I told him/her not to contact me again. Yes, I know I can ignore and mark as spam. I played along to see what their sales pitch was before I told them to get lost.

Unfortunately, spammers are everywhere on the Internet and they've been unusually busy the last six months or so. I've been on the Internet for 25  years with a bunch of places I have to expose my email. I get on average 200+ spam messages every day, even with email filters. Faster than I can block them, others take their place.

personally, I figure anyone who is contacting me is either not very good or a scammer.

not very good: if they WERE good, they'd have business ip so facto....not so good.

scammer: yeah, well that one pretty much writes itself.

and my personal thought is any program/app/thingy that can make people do risky things (including lose their life) for 'likes' is something that needs to go. Honest discourse is fine. But the anonymity that those things create and the impressionistic younger folks who are enthralled is a very bad situation, IMHO.
