I recently set up an LLC for my Etsy shop and updated my information on Etsy with my EIN from Bizee (inc file). However, Etsy's automatic system for verifying business EINs can take up to 3 weeks to update. To continue selling during this waiting period, I tried to revert my tax settings back to individual, but I keep receiving an error message: "There was an error saving your taxpayer information. Please try again." Etsy support acknowledges this as a known bug that has been unresolved since 2019. I'm reaching out to the Etsy community for suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

I have had the same issue and they have put my shop on vacation mode so I am unable to sell. Is it best to create a new shop and start from scratch?

I've reached a point where I believe this is the best solution. I've achieved 60 sales and met the goals of being a perfect star seller. It's unfortunate that all my past work will be lost. I may give it another few days and see what happens...
