Hi, there
Is anyone know the correlation between ‘search query’ and ‘listings’ in search analytics? I thought it should work in this way : if I have the key words in description, tag, or title, then the list will be included in the related search query. But when I check the function, I found it in a strange way.
For example, a search query “cat svg”, there are only 2 listings included in this search query. However, I checked my listings, there are about 10 listings just have the same key word “cat svg” in the title, but only 2 of them were included in the search query. Does anyone know why this happened? Or what should I do to bring more listings connect to the search query?
Cheers
If you are looking at the stats, then you will only see the listings which have been found and viewed using a specific search term. You may have other listings which contain that search term (keywords) but if they were not viewed within the specified time period for those keywords then they will not appear in the stats for those keywords. I'm not sure if that makes sense.
ETA: try changing the time period to 'this year' to see more results.
Kind of make sense, the search analytics showed the key words that related to my listings, many of the listings have 0 visit but a few impressions. I assume this means people did the search and browse the page that contain my listings, however They didn't click into the listing. So in my case I mentioned before, does it mean that people made the search but didn't even browse the searching result pages that contain my other listings?
@JohnKVision I have similar doubts so I follow the topic. Maybe someone can lights up these things

Search is much, much more than titles and tags.
the listings I mentioned only have difference in digital files I uploaded. Everything else is almost the same, so the article doesn't work in this case.
