Technical issues on variation listings

Over the past four days, a series of technical problems has severely affected my shop. Prices of items have undergone erroneous automatic variations, generating confusion and dissatisfaction among customers. This situation has also made it impossible to cancel orders, further frustrating customers. Despite our multiple attempts, the technical support has not yet responded to our requests to resolve these issues. 

Etsy technical support is not supporting. scandalous.

When I see a shop with just a few sales, I'm honestly inclined to believe it's more likely a misunderstanding or that they haven't figured out an aspect of the site yet. It's just a lot more likely than anything actual scandalous going on. 

If you give more specifics, you're more likely to get more accurate answers and help from other sellers here, than you are should Etsy support finally get back to you. Etsy support is outsourced and limited in knowledge, knowledgeable help could take months for a response, whereas other sellers here may have personal experience dealing with whatever your issues are.

@KassyHair: If you would like some help from your fellow sellers, you will need to provide some specifics - obviously you know what "... a series of technical problems ..." means but we do not.

In variation listings price registration are automatically change and there is nothing we can do except trying to contact etsy support

what is actually scandalous is being ignored with no response on a "chat available 24/7" and I can't be more specific than a very detailed email with the issue explaination + screenchots + screen videos. Also, I would add that the number of sales on this shop isn't what is important in this matter, i don't think Etsy support answers to shops with important number of sales exclusively. Kassy Hair is a S.A.S identified French company but still.

The number of sales was only mentioned because it's more likely that it is a user error, which is very common for new users on the site. And because sellers that have been around a lot longer know to not expect anything from Etsy in a timely manner, especially if it's not urgent on their end (like the site is down and no one can purchase anything). Etsy often responds just as slow to sellers with 10,000 sales those with just 1 sale. I know I've seen them promote the 24/7 support, but I have no idea what that's actually in reference to. Is it acceptable? No. But like many other things around here, that's something we can't really do more than complain about. We can take our business elsewhere, and many have, but they have enough new shops joining that they won't take notice. They claimed last time they increased the seller fees that we would have better support. So far we're still waiting to see it. 

As for your variations changing price, do you have the box inside the variation checked that prices vary in that variation and set up correctly?

How to Add Variations for Your Listings – Etsy Help

It may be user error rather than being Etsy.  First check to see if you are following the instructions.  Troubleshoot all possible problems and if not resolved, use the reply email if you reported it to Etsy or create an email and when the reply comes, reply back to that one.
