Technical glitch ordering from Romania

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone else is having the issue we have with orders from Romania? We have been contacted by a customer who cannot complete the order of items she wants to purchase because of an error message within ETSY that says these items can't be shipped to Romania. This same customer has been able to put other items from our shop in her basket and it works fine...so we are scratching our heads wondering whether this is a technical issue/glitch anyone else has experienced today or recently??

I can add listings to my cart that don't ship to me.

Just because they can't cart it doesn't mean you're set to ship there. 1 listing I looked at only ships within France. It's in 2 people's basket, so perhaps that's one of the listings?

You get a red error message in cart that it doesn't ship to your country.

If you and your buyer are certain that the item is in fact allowable to ship to Romania (I'be be very very certain of this because it could be a boatload of trouble for both of you) you could try creating a custom listing.

My hypothesis is this:

1. there is an ingredient or component in the listing that is not allowed to ship to Romania.

or

2. an automated system is spotting something in the listing that makes it think it includes something that is not allowed to ship to Romania.

Have you looked at the customs regulations for Romania?  Otherwise perhaps you need to check your shipping settings.
