My account was suspended last week for need of financial/tax info. I responded same day and uploaded document asked for. a banner appeared on shop stating they are verifying my tax info, check back in an hour. 3 days, and that is still on there, and shop still not opened. I have a very large order pending. How long does this take???? i have tried numerous ways to contact support. I have been in an endless infuriating loop on the site, with no option to speak, call, chat or email anyone!!!! How can there be NO way to contact anyone??? I googled and found a #, which turned out to be a scam .
It has been taking about 3 weeks from what others have said.
Did you send an email? Take one email and respond back with the issue of the sale and ask for an update.
Did you use Contact us under Community?
Does your bank account name, tax name (SSN or EIN) and if an llc is involved, match? The name has to the complete legal name used. No nicknames unless legally used.
Please add your location.
If the order is open, you can either cancel or use the email to ship the order through Pirateship.
I am new to Etsy and have wasted a lot of time trying to work out how to contact Etsy support. To date, not luck. I have tried replying to messages I have received from Etsy but, despite their emails showing a 'reply to' address, all come bounce back with a message saying that mailbox does not accept emails. The Etsy website, despite buttons offering to 'Contact Support' lead nowhere other than the bottomless pit of Help options. Does anyone have an Etsy Support email address they're willing to share?
Your account is currently open, but there are no items listed. I hope that's a sign they are fixing it now.
@cindylouwho2 - that's etsy's new choice of operation. they deactivate all the listings and delete the payment options so a shop is basically just hanging there. the shop only appears to be open.
is the large order pending payment, or has the payment cleared?
Just received payment today. I mailed package at PO yesterday.
I responded to email received. Repy came back stating that box was not monitored.
—. I have hit Contact Support on every page I can find, and it always takes me back to same page- seller help. Or buyer help, and the viscous cycle starts over. I’ve found no way to CHat, Email or call. I someone knows how, please advise.

but be aware there have been massive delays lately in restoring shops suspended for tax issues. Staff on chat can only refer you on to the right team, where there is a large backlog.

@KelliPopeJewelry I think it takes up to 7 days, Didn't you receive an email from Etsy? If not, you'll have to reach out to chat support to put in a "new ticket" for the engineering team to fix it. If you can't get through to support via your Shop Manager dashboard>Community & Help>Contact Us , you can try through the Help>Help Center at the top of the Forums. I believe there are other posts on this topic re updating tax information if you want to do a forum search. The info. has to be exact as your banking info. i.e. name, etc. Let us know how you make out.
