I have no idea if someone suggested this before, but I couldn't find it, so here I go trying to explain what I have in mind.
We can link a photo to a variation, right. So potential buyers click the drop down menu, choose a description and the corresponding photo shows as well. Which is a really neat feature.
So I was wondering, why not turn this process in two directions? So if people click the photo, the corresponding description and price will show automatically too? As a potential buyer I'd like that actually.
The price should show if the variation the person is clicking on to look at is tied to a specific price. It all depends on how the variation is set up to begin with.
If you click on the drop down menu, yes. But when I open a page, it first shows all the photos, so someone who is more visually minded will check out the photos first, then the text. Some of the photos are linked to a variation, so clicking a photo linked to a variation could also show the information of that variation I'd think.
Simply a good idea!
