Stripped of all my badges as of September 1st

I have lost all my badges as of September 1st. Granted my sales have been way down. However the sales I have had, have been shipped within 48 hours, all messages have been answered with in 24 hours, and I have gotten 5 Star reviews. YET ALL MY BADGES are GONE. Who can explain this to me???  I also would like to see WHERE I CAN SEE THESE STATS listed on my customer service stats page.

Thank you!

@WeStitchTogether - In the last 3 months, have you also had 5 sales, and combined total sales of at least $300?

Those are also needed for Star Seller...on your service stats page, about midway down there is a light blue box. Click on View orders and sales.

@WeStitchTogether: You can see the stats that Etsy used on your Star Seller page (previous review period for September 1 star and badges).

Star Seller is calculated only on the 1st of each month, and on that day you first need to have met the order quantity and volume requirements during the preceding three month period, and only then are the other metrics considered.

Re: Stripped of all my badges as of September 1st

It's now under "customer service stats".  Goes by the last 3 months, so it changes every month. It's also a waste of time to worry about it, especially if you are a small seller or sell inexpensive items.  My badges rarely show even when I do get them and the link to share the status never shows in my manager. Etsy take is :" known issue, working on it." It's been like this for years. I don't even bother asking them anymore. It's never affected my sales. If you have good reviews and ratings otherwise and you have something someone wants, they will buy it. Don't fret it. There's always a mass of sellers worrying about it every 1st. There's been tons of complaints recently about it not being calculated properly too.

Re: Stripped of all my badges as of September 1st

Hi, Under Customer Service (in Dashboard, Left Column), you'll see it is currently on this next period (for S Seller Oct. 1). If you switch it to "Previous", you can see your Metrics for June, July, August. Also, if you don't make the 5 Sales, $300.00, none of the individual Badges will show. Hope this helps.

Re: Stripped of all my badges as of September 1st

I just finished providing a screenshot in chat and requested a ticket number to provide feedback on Star Seller.

Try that.. I also lost it this month low sales, not many reviews and the 1 that was a 4 star made me lose it. Ridiculous.

Re: Stripped of all my badges as of September 1st

It is weird ALL your SS badges are gone ... usually they leave up the ones where you did meet the requirements for.

Wondering ... have you ever received any IP infringement cases filed against you?  If so, this could be why your badges were removed.  I only ask because I noticed several sold listings had the name Pioneer Woman in the title!

Re: Stripped of all my badges as of September 1st

@TBQSC - I lost mine in August, only second time since beginning of SS. Was short of the $300 by about $26, met everything else ...lost everything, no badges, nothing. Easily back again now, but it was weird seeing nothing for a month! (and absolutely no IP or other issues EVER for 14 years!!) Really not worried about the whole thing though......

Re: Stripped of all my badges as of September 1st

If the shop hasn't met the minimums, they don't get any badges at all. Since the OP said "my sales have been way down," I'd think that's likely the reason.

No, I have not had any infringement issues. Just went from being a Star Seller for many months....to nothing. Oh well.

Re: Stripped of all my badges as of September 1st

Thank you!!  My questions was in regards to LOSING all of the badges. I expected with my low sales for the previous 3 months to LOSE the STAR SELLER Badge. I was shocked to have lost ALL the badges. All the other categories I am at the 100% level. Why would I lose all the badges. I checked other shops and found some had 1 or 2 badges visible. I want to see where my stats for the last 3 months are. I want to see the SHIPPING STATs, the MESSAGES STATS, the REVIEW STATS. Is there anywhere to see these stats for each month?

Thank you for your response!!

Re: Stripped of all my badges as of September 1st

They're now shown in "Customer Service Stats" -- both the previous and current periods are shown there.

From the very beginning of the program, we had to meet the sales minimums in order to get any badges at all.

The reason you sometimes see 1 or 2 badges is because that seller met the minimums, but didn't get 95% on all three other metrics.

You cannot see the stats for each month, but you can see them for the current 3-month period and the previous one (June, July & August.)
You have to click on each box to see your actual numbers. It doesn't look like there are links there, but there are.

Re: Stripped of all my badges as of September 1st

Star Seller is really a measure of marketing rather than customer service as it only appears if you make $300 sales in the qualifying period.

It doesn’t matter if you get 100% for all the customer service standards, no badge for you (or me!) if you don’t make Etsy enough £$€¥!

Re: Stripped of all my badges as of September 1st

If you do not have 5 sales and you don't meet the $300 minimum you get no badges.  It does not matter if you qualify for them.  If I could sell $300 in 3 months I would have been Star Seller since program began, but because of the $300 I have never had a single badge displayed in my shop.
