Stars missing from google search

Just wondering if anyone knows what this might be, I would share an image to help but we cant do that here, 

When I search my items in google as I have to do to make sure they aren't being copied or that they still appear in searches, usually the top row of google results shows my main selling item along side several items of the same genre, they're not the same items per say but they all do the same thing, Hold bikes on a wall, each advert always has a google rating in gold stars which is copied and pasted from your Etsy feedback/reviews. 

If you perform a search for wooden bike holder Etsy, you will see a row of adverts at the top of the screen and all of them have the sellers star rating. Mine was always the best in this area, however, my star rating is no longer showing, some sort of glitch is making it go missing. 

This may have something to do with Etsy removing the listing in error on Thursday last week, they reinstated my advert and sent an apology email, however I have not made any sales since, and my stars are missing from the google search. 

This ongoing error that has affected myself and many other people has damaged my sales to the point where I am now considering closing the store, at this time of year I would usually be hammering the sales and prior to my add being closed I was on a sales run, 

I don't understand why my stars are missing from google, maybe it is unrelated, perhaps someone else has experienced this, I don't know why my sales have been nearly 0 since my advert was reinstated, perhaps this is also unrelated, all I know is my stars are missing in google and my sales are usually 5-8 per day at this time of year and they are at only one since advert reinstated, 

Again if anyone has experienced this knock in sales please let me know,

Did you ever figure this out? We’ve been ridiculously quiet and I happened to check google and noticed the same thing. We’ve lost our summary somehow. I wondered if it was a knock on effect of being quiet but your post made me think it could be a reason for the drop in outside traffic. Edit: talking about an old established shop, not the one I’m posting from

For me personally it took 3 weeks or so for the stars to come back, Etsy closed off my advert "by accident" twice in one month due to someone using my images. Once they reinstated my shop it took google a few weeks to reset and display my star rating, btw it is definitely your shops rating for the specified advert as each image has a different rating - if it was for Etsy then each image would have the same star rating. 

I would say as well that since Etsy "accidentally" closed off two of my adverts my shop has never recovered. I am selling around 60% of what I was prior to that AI glitch. 

I am not sure if its because Amazon is using some of my images and refusing to remove them, or if things are just slow now, but the timing was exactly when they shut off my main ad, 

Prior to that I was making an average of 100 - 120 sales pcm, now its 50 - 70.

This is an OLD post (Aug 2024), but for 2025 ... I recently did a search for my shop name and found that Google actually shows my store at 4.7 and with a rating of 499.  As of Feb 7, 2025, I now have well over 700 sales and many 5 star ratings.  I hate that Google doesn't show "current" rates for my Etsy shop ... perhaps this is why sales have been so slow?

Yep I think that’s the case, we have 30k sales and 5 star rating  but reviews have been slow since the shop went quiet in January, thank you for the reply though appreciate it and glad you’re in better place with it

That is not rating for your shop. That is rating of Etsy as a whole on Google.

@Arcalliq we were talking about the google snippets in search results that normally show up for Etsy stores and show 3 photos and a star rating. I think because we’re so quiet these days on Etsy that we’ve lost ours
