I have consistently been a Star Seller. Recently my shipping status went down and Etsy said I didn't include tracking on 2 recent orders. I checked all orders and the all have USPS tracking. I am the only one who does my shipping and I enjoy sending my buyers their shipping info.
Thank you, Gary
How recent? The system doesn't sync instantly, sometimes it takes a day or two to update.
Double check that there aren't any typos or missing lettters / numbers in those tracking numbers.
@WhiteRiverWoodworks: Are you basing this on the applicable CSV file on your Star Seller page (last review period for December star) to see what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it? In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. Remember that Star Seller dates / times are in UTC not your time zone.
If the shipping company is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order.
Have the packages been scanned? Sometimes a tracking number cannot be validated until after the first scan is publicly available. It also depends how how often AfterShip checks the tracking and updates Etsy. Star Seller stats (and the CSV file) seem to be updated only once per day so there may be an additional day's delay.
An unsupported shipping company or invalid / unverified tracking number equals shipped without tracking.
