Star seller

Jump to solution

I’m about to become a star seller in October I have met all the criteria however I have an issue.

on sales it says 29 sales so I have well outdone the 5 needed however it still says pending. Why would this be?

everything else has the tick next to it to be awarded star seller badge.

thank you ☺️

Before ANY of the three main criteria count, you must have ALL THREE of the "lesser" qualifications, 5 sales or more, $300 in sales (item price only) AND at least 90 days passed since your first sale.  I suspect you may be lacking on this last one, so you will not qualify for the badge this month, and depending on the date of your first sale you may not qualify next month either.  If you first sale was in August, the 90 days will not be reached until sometime in November.

Has the 90 days past since your first sale?

  • You must also meet a minimum of 5 orders and 300 USD in sales during the 3-month review period, and you must have been on Etsy’s platform for 90 days since your first sale.

Looking at the price of your items, you may not have reached the 300 dollar minimum requirement

@CatsWhiskersCurios She probably did reach the $300 mark since most of the OP's sales were for the Taylor Swift ticket ($11.49) and the rest were $10 birthday tickets.   As mentioned tho and going by the dates on her reviews, her first sale probably wasn't over 90 days ago.

@FoiledFantasytickets If you continue to sell Taylor Swift tickets and that listing is eventually removed for infringement, there's a good chance that you will not be eligible for the SSB.

The orders metric will remain pending until you reach 90 days from the date of your first sale.

19 of the 30 sales were the Taylor Swift infringements and the first review is August 10.

It's so sad that shops that infringe and counterfeit on others is even considered for Star Seller Badges.

It gives the site a bad name.

To think that you can take a well-known person's name and print up a bunch of fake tickets and get rewarded for it is beyond the scope of what this site used to stand for.
