Star seller

I received notification that I made September Star Seller this morning. Then two hours later I received a message that I only got two badges. Message calculation is not including messages from 8/28 - 8/31.

@couturebylolita  :  Two parts to your issue. First. you have entered the dreaded time zone trap. It seems that Etsy uses UTC for most things, but many "reports" are based on your time zone. August 31 to you may be September 1 to Etsy. Secondly, looking at other posts in this forum it seems that the last few days of a month routinely get rolled into the next month when doing Star Seller calculations.

Etsy uses UTC time so the last couple of days are not counted for the month in question but get rolled over.

This happens every month.

I too received a star seller badge for the month of September only to have it removed after being on for half a day. Now, no badges. IDK.

I received the same messages. Star seller for September, then another stating I didn't get it because of late shipment. I haven't had any late shipments.

Hello @couturebylolita and @PearlInTheOcean,

After checking in here, it appears that you didn't hit the required percentage for the Message Response Rate, which is why you didn't received the Star Seller badge. Please note that Messages sent on the last two days of the 3-month review period may be excluded from the current review period and counted towards the next period instead. This is to allow Sellers a full 24 hours to respond and not be penalized for messages received late on the final day of the review period.

@Chikyu, we can confirm that the Star Seller badge for the month of September is appearing in your shop. 

@RightBrainLeftWing, we can see that you didn't received the On-Time shipping badge for the month of September because there is an order that didn't have a processing time. We recommend double-checking the shipping settings of your listings/shipping profiles and making sure that they have processing time setup. More information can be found in this Help Article.
