Star seller stats a tracking number was not provided,package shipped late. False on both.

Hello,

  Yesterday I shipped two separate orders to 2 separate customers. Both were given tracking numbers. And we’re shipped days earlier then required . I always send pictures of the tracking and ETA information from USPS to the customer  after adding the tracking number to mark as shipped to complete the order so that the customer can have a copy of their receipt. I also send pictures of the package so that customer knows what to expect. Today both packages are already moving in transit. But Etsy star seller is stating that one of the orders does not have a tracking number and says “no” under shipped on time. Which is absurd and false. Now Etsy star seller has dropped my Shipping rate to 95% which is frustrating because I go above and beyond for my customers, I always ship early. The tracking numbers are correct, and already showing movement today.The shipping was Early. So I would like to know if anyone else is having this problem and how do we fix it. I would like to know why this is happening. Any response would be helpful.Thank you.

Double check the tracking numbers you entered into the order form to complete, if that fails edit and add the tracking number again

@Charmnphalanges: Make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order. If there are any errors you only have three days to correct them. Often recent shipments are not correctly / timely updated. Usually a day or two after the package has been scanned the CSV file correctly shows tracking and shipment status and the Star Seller stats auto update.

It sounds like you’re not using Etsy labels to ship, which automatically adds the tracking, (completes order) and notifies your customer.  I’m not saying you HAVE to use etsy labels, but it sure saves money and a lot of excess steps. Hopefully you get the SS error figured out.
