Be aware ...
I had two orders with a buyer purchasing more than one item on the same day, but in separate orders.
I shipped my orders on time with the multiple purchases in one package. I then updated the additional orders mailed in the same package immediately with "USPS" and the tracking number.
This has never caused issues before. Now the orders with the manually entered tracking number show up as having no tracking number. As a result, the star seller rating dropped.
I hope Etsy will fix this. We all work hard to keep our star seller rating intact.
Similar thing happened to me last week.
Did you get it fixed? And if so, how?
Wow. Thank you for the heads up! I don't have to manually complete orders/upload tracking numbers often, but don't even think to check my rating after I do. Will definitely keep a closer eye on it now.
Update - I just noticed the problem got fixed. Thank you Etsy.
I am having that same problem. How do I fix this. I shipped two orders to same person in one package. It's showing up that I haven't shipped yet. The customer received the package yesterday. What do I do to fix this????
@ninadano: "It's showing up that I haven't shipped yet." Did you mark EACH order as completed with the same tracking information?
What happens if you click on the tracking number link on each of the actual orders? If it opens the courier's tracking page and shows the scan history then you have proof that the tracking information was entered correctly.
If that does not work and if the shipping company is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual orders. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the orders.
